A Burlap Wreath

More burlap inspiration has come my way.

I was inspired by the cutest burlap wreath that was created by Lucy from
that I had to bust out the burlap for another project.

Instead of fall silks, I decided to adorn my raggy burlap wreath with handmade fabric flowers using leftover velvets and satins from my bean pumpkins.

Atop the wreath, a simple burlap bow made from a roll of burlap ribbon I bought months ago.

For now it's hanging on my chippy door that's propped up in the living room.
I love my chippy door!

This was a fun quick little project . . . well, except for all the sneezing from the burlap fibers flittering all around when I was tying all those strips to the embroidery hoop.

  2. Very cute! I just added a burlap bow to the Fall wreath I have hung on my front door for the last couple of years and what a difference it made! Love those flowers you added too. I'll have to try and make something like them too.
