A FAVORITE BOWL

Among several of my collecting obsessions, I have a collection of bowls.
Most are vintage
~ yellow ware, Watt, color banded bowls, etc. ~
I've collected over the years at thrift stores, junk shops, antique shops, etc.

Some in my collection are newly made.  I don't discriminate.

love the fluted edge
If it's a pretty bowl with a pretty design or interesting lines, I'll snatch it up!

fresh cut pineapple.  the start of a fresh fruit
salad for breakfast.
fresh strawberries, kiwi, clementines and

grapefruit were later added,
but the kids started in on it just as i finished
cutting up everything before i could get a picture!
This bowl is one of my favorites.

especially love the two-toned color
It's a new piece, purchased by my Hubby as a Christmas gift several years ago.  He bought it a little boutique that's since closed, but they had the cutest little bit of everything in that shop.

Whenever I use it, it just makes me happy.  You know what I mean.  We all have things like that in our daily, routine . . . simple things or tools that just make the task a bit nicer.

Thanks for visiting!

My favorite bowls have a ruffle edge too. I guess it's the "girly" in me. :)

I love the edge on that bowl, Carla! Plus, that it is from hubby, I think it would bring a smile to my face every time I used it, too.

Fresh pineapple...yum..

That bowl is very pretty. I have inherited just a few vintage McCoy bowls but am afraid to use them so it's great that you have some new & handmade bowls to actually use.
