TODAY'S HARVEST

It was a pretty good one.

PEPPERS
Long Hots
Italian Gourmet
Sweet Bell
Jalapeno

CUCUMBERS
Lots of cukes!

ZUCCHINI

TOMATOES
YAY!!! I'm finally getting some decent tomatoes.
Early Girl
Big Boy
Bradley Heirlom
Roma

Think I'll make some bruschetta

to top mini ciabatta loaves

as a yummy side dish for dinner.

And maybe a batch of pico de gallo for snacking later this evening.

I want to make a batch of frig pickles, too, using Lisa's method. Jalapeno jelly making might start within the next few days as well. Those Jalapeno plants are really pumping out the peppers!

Thanks for visiting!

Hi Carla - what a great bunch of vegetables you have! I'll be another month before we have any tomatoes bigger than the cherry ones. Everything tastes so good from the garden!

Now that is a bountiful harvest! Great photos too. (Love your new header too.) I finished a batch of pickles just today. I had to pay $7.00 at the Farmer's Market for enough cucumbers for 7 jars. The deer this year have used my garden as their banquet table! Lucky you...you get to keep everything you grew and you don't have to buy cucumbers for your pickles!

Wonderful garden bounty!
We are just starting to get squash here and a few banana peppers. I hope the new owners will love my garden as much as I have loved it :)
