You're right about a coloring book and crayons; I'll bet it could be very relaxing and a stress reliever. I'll have to keep that in mind the next time I'm at the dollar store!
I see you follow Kathy from Creative Expressions! She's great, isn't she?!?
I have failed miserably at getting to everyone's creative space!
Thank you so much for stopping by today!
I totally understand how you feel. Boxers and heart conditions and cancer . . . .
I was adamant that I did NOT want another boxer when we had to say goodbye to Hannah. My husband did and he kept showing me pictures from the rescue and one day we saw Sophie and she looked so much like Hannah that I relented and we went to meet her. We met her a year on the day that we lost Hannah. I was also worried b/c Kodak has been king of the roost since Hannah left and although he's an old man and doesn't want to play with Sophie it warms my heart to see them cuddle much like he did with Hannah.
It's tough opening up your heart again b/c you know how it will ache when they have to leave us but they bring so much laughter and joy BUT I have to admit that Sophie is also very frustrating, LOL, she's still a puppy and has so much ENERGY and is stubborn in true boxer fashion but she'll learn . . . .
Hi Carla, I love your new mug and your hot pepper relish recipe sounds wonderful! I can imagine that it tastes very yummy. What a great Christmas gift! Have a great week! Hugs, Julia
I had to comment on your "bucket" of coffee because I use a GIANT mug (from Michael's after-Christmas sale of all places) that my DH refers to as "the BARREL"! LOL

Simplify is my new favorite word ~ hopefully my new lifestyle too!
Good luck with living the simple life!
